Yes! Daily use is where the magic happens. Our formulas are thoughtfully crafted with carefully selected botanical ingredients and are designed to work on all skin types for everyday use. If you have particularly sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test before first use.

Our products are suitable for all skin types - even sensitive skin! The skin types of our customers fit the full range and we frequently receive positive feedback on how our products have helped their skin. Many of our customers say their complexion has improved since using our products (acne, redness, skin tone, and overall appearance). We believe this is due to the high antioxidant level in the essential oils we use, the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and astringent properties of zinc oxide, and the rich natural fatty acids, essential fatty acids, and Vitamins A, E, & F that are present in Shea Butter and Coconut Oil.

Zinc Oxide is best known as a mineral sunblock due to its amazing UV blocking properties. In order for a product using zinc oxide to be considered an SPF, the company has to undergo extensive FDA testing totaling upwards of $50,000 per product, plus an additional $20,000 annual fee! We offer five products with zinc oxide, which would cost us upwards of $270,000 to legally be able to label, market, and sell our products as a mineral sunblock. As a military-owned family business with no investors, we simply do not have that kind of money. Therefore, we do not sell our Whipped Mineral Moisturizer, made with Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, as a sunblock and we make no claims that our product offers sun protection. We may make those claims some day, but for now, we are simply offer cosmetic products made of zinc oxide that are loved by hundreds of happy users!

Like all Zinc Oxide products, a slight white cast may appear with initial application or if too much product was used. Once properly rubbed in, there should be NO white cast visible. A little goes a long way with our products, so be sure to start by applying a very small amount and adding more if needed.

The key thing to remember when applying our products is that A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! Start with clean, dry skin and apply a very small amount until you can gage how much you need. Rub in evenly. Our main ingredient, Raw Unrefined Shea Butter, is rich in natural fatty acids similar to the oils in human skin, which helps it to absorb well and lock in moisture. Enjoy the soft, luxurious feel! **When in the sun, we recommend reapplying at least every two hours.

The short answer is no. We pride ourself in using pure Mica powder that is naturally and ethically sourced in our (tinted) products. Glitter is made of cut plastic or metal particles providing a high-impact sparkle, whereas Mica is a mineral that is found naturally in the earth and ground into a very fine powder to offer a soft and subtle luminous shimmer.

Our Golden Glow, Deep Bronze, and Pearlescent Ivory shades all provide a subtle shimmer (best seen under natural sunlight), whereas our Gold Flake shade provides a bigger and bolder shimmer that stands out much more. Because of this, we recommend our Gold Flake to be used primarily as a body shimmer, rather than on the face.

A simple name change! Our Whipped Mineral Moisturizer is what was formerly known as SolShineSPF. Nothing has changed in the formula, we simply rebranded the names. Our Intense Hydration Repair is what was formerly LunaGlow. Nothing has changed in the formula.

No! We use zero fragrance in our products. The amazing aroma of our products is achieved through 100% Pure Essential Oils that are third party tested to ensure they are free of altercations and fillers.

Store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Always close the lid securely after each use to help maintain product quality and freshness. **Because our products are 100% natural, they do melt in the heat.**. Melting will not affect the potency or effects of the products, but it will alter the whipped consistency and texture. If you suspect your product has melted, be sure to open it up on a flat and level surface so it does not leak or spill out. Your product will re-solidify after returning to a cool place for some hours (you can also put it in the refrigerator to speed up the process).
